The new addition to the resort, which will boast a variety of slides, splash zones, and two pools, will open its doors to the public on the 15th of February.
Olympian Sharron Davies has been invited to the ceremony and has been given the honour of cutting the ribbon which will mark the official inauguration of the popular resort’s new water park, leisure facilities, and gym.
“It is fantastic to see investment in swimming and leisure facilities that can be enjoyed by the whole family,” said Sharron. “Swimming has so many benefits for people of all ages, and Haulfryn obviously recognise the importance of investing in these facilities to encourage more people to use them.”
“The pools, slides and splash zones will be a real attraction for both holidaymakers and people from the local area, giving more people access to quality facilities and promoting healthy and active lifestyles.”
The next stage in the plans to upgrade Haulfryn’s Finlake Resort includes the development of a £3m spa as well as additional lodge facilities and a brand new restaurant.
Regarding the upgrade plans, Haulfryn Group’s CEO Bobby McGhee said: “The aim at all Haulfryn parks is to create quality facilities to complement the quality of the luxury lodges. This significant investment in the park will not only bring benefits for local people and holidaymakers, it will also create new jobs and attract more people to the region, boosting the local economy."
