Dinosaurs are coming to South Yorkshire this February half term! You can see them at the Tropical Butterfly House, Wildlife & Falconry Centre, in North Anston, near Sheffield.
As part of the normal admission price, visitors will be able to meet the T-Rex, an impressive animatronic dinosaur, as well as an adorable baby Triceratops. They can follow the dinosaur trail, take a free tractor trailer ride (watch out for escaped dinosaurs!), take part in dinosaur crafts and games, and get involved in a full day of animal encounters!
There’s a daily fancy dress competition, and the wildlife centre is encouraging visitors to tag them in their dinosaur photos and selfies on social media; their favourite will win a family admission ticket.
The Tropical Butterfly House hosts themed events throughout the year. Andrew Reeve, Centre Manager and Zoo Curator; “We are overjoyed to bring this new event to the wildlife centre, and we hope that the children of South Yorkshire are as excited about the event as we are!”.
Dinosaurs takes place from 10th – 25th February 2018. The Tropical Butterfly House is open daily, located just five minutes from the M1, junction 31, with free parking. See www.butterflyhouse.co.uk to plan your visit, tickets for the event can be purchased on the gate, or in advance online.
