The first stage of the scheme will see the development of a new outdoor activity and innovation centres as well as a facility dedicated to water-based activities. New camping and caravan pitches will also be introduced, as well as enhancements to the landscape and current parking facilities.
Additionally, permission has been acquired to expand and revamp of the current visitor centre as well as develop a bike skills area in the form of a track featuring banks, mounds, dips and gravel tracks.
